Microgreen Information

Most microgreens, are higher in vitamin and antioxidant concentrations compared to mature plants. These are some of the more common microgreens-

Arugula

A slightly peppery addition to your recipes, Arugula’s unique taste adds a special touch to salads, soups, and other foods. Ranks as high as Broccoli on the CDC’s list of powerhouse fruits and vegetables.

Broccoli

A delicious and low-calorie addition to your diet, Broccoli contains vitamins A, C, E, and K as well as folate, pantothenic acid, and fiber.

Cilantro

Daikon Radish

Daikon Radish has a deliciously pungent flavor. Containing vitamins B-6, B-12, & C as well as Potassium and Magnesium, another nutritional powerhouse that adds great flavor to your salads and sandwiches.

Leeks

Fully grown,Leeks have a mild flavor, similar to onions, and can be used in stews, soups, and salads. Our Leek microgreens have a more concentrated onion flavor that’s bold, but not overpowering. An excellent source of vitamin K. They are very good source of manganese, vitamin B6, copper, iron, folate and vitamin C. Leeks are also a good source of vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids, dietary fiber, magnesium, vitamin E, calcium and omega-3 fatty acids.

Peas

We grow several varieties of peas. Peas are a delicious and low-calorie addition to your diet, Peas contain vitamin C, vitamin E, significant amounts of vitamin A, lutein, and fiber.

Radish Mix

A delicious blend of Rambo Purple and China Rose radishes, our Radish mix contains vitamins B, C, & K as well as many trace minerals. This unique combination adds color and flavor to your salads and sandwiches.

Red Cabbage

Red Cabbage contains vitamins A, C, E, and K as well as folate, pantothenic acid, and fiber

Sunflowers

Sunflower microgreens are a good source of Iron and Calcium. High in polyunsaturated and mono-saturated fats essential for heart health, as well as being a good source of protein and fiber

Super Salad Mix

A customer favorite microgreen. A delicious, nutritious, and slightly peppery mix of Broccoli, Kale, Kohlrabi, Arugula, Red Cabbage & Southern Giant Mustard. Contains vitamins C, E & K.
